Masters & Ribakoff

Experienced Mediation and Arbitration

FACT: In the last ten years, fewer than five of Christine's mediations have failed to resolve. Everything else settled — without the cost, delay, and risk of trial.

Three decades of turning conflict into resolution.

Christine Masters and Alan Ribakoff have spent thirty years doing one thing: helping people stop arguing and start resolving. What began in 1991 as a merger of two successful employment and corporate law practices became, within a decade, a full-time devotion to mediation, arbitration, and workplace investigation — no litigation, no billable hours spent preparing for trial, just the work of getting disputes settled.

That experience shows up in the numbers. Thousands of cases resolved. Employers and employees, large companies and small ones, individuals and institutions — all brought their hardest employment conflicts here, not to be told who was right, but to find a way forward.

Today, the firm's focus is almost entirely on employment disputes: discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and executive separations, along with the workplace investigations that often precede them. Mediations are available by secure video conference or in person, whichever serves the parties best.

Masters & Ribakoff has been a signatory to the Green Pledge of the World Mediators Alliance on Climate Change since 2018, minimizing unnecessary travel and favoring electronic resolution wherever it serves the case well. Learn more about the Pledge.
