Christine Masters and Alan Ribakoff established Masters & Ribakoff in 1991 by merging their highly successful employment and corporate law practices. They have long been recognized as leaders in providing high quality ADR services exclusively as neutral mediators, arbitrators, and investigators.  With a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in employment, corporate and business law that is difficult to match, they have successfully resolved thousands of disputes for myriad entities including large and small public and private employers and the individuals with whom they work.

Mr. Ribakoff now concentrates his practice as an arbitrator on the Employment and Commercial Panels of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”).  Ms. Masters devotes the majority of her time to the mediated resolution of all types of employment disputes, although she continues to serve as an arbitrator as well. Mr. Ribakoff and Ms. Masters choose to work primarily in Southern California, but will consider assignments elsewhere upon request.

As we have since early 2020, we will continue resolving disputes through secure Zoom video conferencing with our same high standards of service, while offering the possibility of in person mediations on a case-by-case basis. We will of course be monitoring all health and safety data and developments and look forward to providing in person services as appropriate.

Masters & Ribakoff first committed to the Green Pledge of the World Mediators Alliance on Climate Change (“WOMACC”) in 2018. We have pledged to minimize the environmental impact of our firm and of each mediation, including avoiding unnecessary travel and using electronic technology wherever possible.
